Approximately 1,800 students from more than 60 countries are supported. With the associated staff and admin, Advanced Services/ Deployment Specialist, Michael Miner, needs to transfer data between more than 150 PCs a year on average. He relies on a rock-solid time-saver like PCmover to get the job done. “It’s always miles above anything else we have tried,” said Miner. **Why PCmover?** Colby College has tried programs like Norton Acronis True Image and Symantec Ghost, but found that they were slow and unreliable. Turning to PCmover, they found that they could complete transfers in anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours, depending on the PC. This was done with minimum failures. PCmover was so easy to use, they even taught students how to use the program so they could jump in and help—and learn something at the same time. **Outcome** With a wide variety of PCs to get transferred each year, Colby College found that PCmover is easy to use, easy to implement, easy to train staff on, and the intuitive interface makes it easy to select only what data needs to be transferred, while being granular enough that the user can dig deep into the advanced settings if necessary. “I’d say PCmover is a program that just works and works well.
