Contest Ending: All good things must come to an end…

Today at 12 PM Pacific Time we will stop tracking mentions of the keywords and any mentions from that point on will not count as official entries (but please keep posting, we like to see it!) We will be gathering the entry list over the rest of this week and will keep you updated on how that goes. The drawing for the winner will take place next week, so stay tuned! Besides, we are known to throw a curve ball or two so don’t miss it!

Also, make sure to pay close attention to your email. If you are picked as the winner, we will be emailing you first to make sure you are eligible to win.

I’m still not sure how I feel about getting spied on… I still think it was rather rude. But oh well, it made for a pretty sweet pic anyway!

Why did I have to be the one to be spied on, am I the only one that can’t be trusted?? Enough venting, your turn to vent. You had to have liked this one, right?

I have a very important question to ask you… Do you want another chance to win a laptop?? Well it’s your lucky day because we are giving you ANOTHER chance to win a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge laptop. It’s not just any laptop either, it is thee famous laptop that we used in all of our genius and ultra creative posts from the contest we did last year. And, because it has a personal touch from each of our team members, we would argue that this laptop is even better than the last 2 we gave out. So… Start counting down because the contest is set to launch in T-minus 5 days. Monday we will push the ignition button, and we won’t miss our launch date like those amateurs at NASA that never seem to make their launch dates! (It’s not rocket science…)

A Closer Look…

So by now you have heard all this hype about some mysterious Lenovo ThinkPad Edge laptops that we are giving away next month. Now is the time to give you more information on these amazing machines. We have been testing one of them out since we got them and here is a small list of some of our Favorite features.

Neil (Marketing Manager)

  • New keyboard style
    • This makes typing on the keyboard really comfortable, and I am not constantly pressing the wrong keys.
  • Screen resolution
    • The resolution of the screen is great! I don’t have to squint to see small print.
  • Durability
    • I feel like I could throw it across the room and still work on it. (I might test this, stay tuned for a video of the test.)

Josh (Marketing Analyst)

  • WiMax
    • This feature shows the proximity of wireless networks and the strengths of each one.
      • Makes it really easy to select the best one to use.
  • Battery Life
    • It seemed like the battery lasted FOREVER!
  • Multi-touch pad
    • The 2 finger scrolling and pinch zoom worked great.

Ralf (Graphic Designer)

  • Lightweight
    • It was like carrying around a feather!
  • Boot-up speed
    • I like that I didn’t have to wait a long time for it to boot up; everything is up in under a minute.
  • Open screen to lay flat
    • I think it is cool that you can open the screen so much that it will lay flat. Don’t know how or when I would use it, but I think it is cool none the less.

Andy (PR & Marketing)

  • ThinkVantage
    • This built in tool has:
      • Password Vault
      • Easy location for updates and driver downloads
      • Power Manager
      • Airbag protection: Protects the hard drive when dropped etc.
  • 3 USB slots and HDMI!!!
  • The laptop comes with Windows 7 Professional, not Home.
    • This means that you can use Media Center to record TV and have a central location for all of your favorite multimedia content.

Some of you have heard that we are giving away a couple NEW Lenovo ThinkPad Edges. Well you heard right and the contest is running next month! Below is a small nibble, to last you the weekend, of what will be going on:
